The Porterville Educators Association (PEA) is proud to offer the Stephanie Adegbenro Scholarship Fund, established to support graduating seniors in the Porterville Unified School District as they pursue their post-secondary educational goals. This scholarship reflects PEA’s ongoing commitment to student success, educational advancement, and the development of future leaders within our community.
Each year, a $500 scholarship is awarded to one graduating senior from EACH PUSD high school. The scholarship is open to students who plan to continue their education at a vocational school, community college, or four-year college/university. To ensure students remain committed to their educational pathway, scholarship funds are distributed during the spring semester of the recipient’s freshman year, contingent upon the student maintaining good academic and enrollment standing.
While all eligible seniors are encouraged to apply, preference is given to students of PEA members and those who demonstrate an interest in mentoring, service, or pursuing a career in the field of education. Through this scholarship, PEA honors the legacy of Stephanie Adegbenro by investing in students who exemplify dedication, purpose, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
