The fourth flyer was not released, but it was designed to educate both the community and teachers about key issues. It used a comic strip format and included a QR code linking to detailed explanations and data supporting each claim.
The emphasis of this flyer is to encourage the community to email the superintendent and school board members, urging them to have open dialogue and treat educators with respect. It should also ask each school board member to meet with PEA to hear their perspective.
This flyer was made to keep our community informed about the serious issues affecting students and teachers in Porterville Unified School District (PUSD). Families deserve to know how overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and unsafe learning environments impact their children’s education.
The Porterville Educators Association (PEA) is sharing this information so parents and community members understand what is happening in our schools and how they can help. By following our social media pages and visiting our website, you can stay updated, learn more about what’s at stake, and join us in advocating for safer classrooms, fair treatment of teachers, and better opportunities for every student.
On August 25, 2025, community members generously helped distribute flyers across schools in PUSD. Your support made this possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
The Porterville Educators Association extends our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated.
Thank you,
Porterville Educators Association
